Recovery Songwriting Workshops

During a typical workshop clients work together with Music for Recovery
to write, rehearse, and record an original song on a recovery topic in approximately two hours.
The song is posted on a facility-specific SoundCloud page
where clients can access it for free indefinitely.

The songwriting process gives clients fun, hands-on,  experiential way to engage with recovery skills including letting a process unfold, repetition, slowing down and working as a group.

The over 1,000 songs created in Music for Recovery workshops have been streamed over  65,000 times post-treatment.

Workshop includes all equipment, SoundCloud Page, handouts, supplies, evaluations, editing and posting to SoundCloud.
